The Benchtop Anchor Pin from SecurTech creates an anchor point to padlock a computer cable lock system to. The model BAP can be used together with the Spot Anchor system or the Universal Computer Lock system from SecurTech.
The BAP requires a 5/8" hole in the side or top of your desk or bench. The hardened steel pin inserts into the hole and the included washer keeps the pin from passing all the way through the hole. A security cable loop can then be padlocked to the hole in the end of the pin.
The pin can be inserted vertically from the top-down or from the bottom-up. It can also be inserted horizontally from the outside-in or from the inside-out of a desk. The recommended padlock to use with the Benchtop Anchor Pin is the model B150.
